X-Ray Calibration Pieces
Did you know that, when x-rayed, Lucite looks like human skin? We discovered that when we were asked to produce calibration blocks for airport screening. Whenever we receive these cool projects, our team is always eager to see how the pieces will be used. It inspires us to continue the process of creating one-of-a-kind pieces for one-of-a-kind applications!
Museum Display Pieces
We work with museums by embedding unique pieces of natural history for their touch and learn series. We take feathers, bones and more and embed them in Lucite. These pieces go into the museum public displays for people to view from all angles, especially children.
We’re durable, but not school trip youth durable! This is where our acrylic material is the best. If a piece is scratched or chipped, it comes back so we can make it like new again.
